 Description:

 Cefuroxime is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections .

 Prescription: 

• Prescription-only medicine.

Dosage:

•      Adults: 750mg IV/IM every 8 hours.
•      Children: 30-100 mg/kg/day IV/IM divided every 6-8 hours.
