Congestyl Tablet is a medicine that contains Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, and Chlorpheniramine. It is used to relieve nasal congestion, excess production of mucus, runny nose, headache, fever, etc., associated with the common cold.
Your doctor may prescribe this medicine for other uses also. It works by blocking the effect of certain natural substances in the body that cause allergic reactions, pain, and fever.
INGREDIENTS
Chlorpheniramine Maleate (4mg) + Paracetamol (500mg) + Phenylephrine (5mg) per tablet.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity
GI obstruction
Airway obstructive diseases.
DOSAGE
Adults and children >12 years
1 tablet every 6 to 8 hours
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Mild drowsiness, stomach upset, dizziness, anxiety, insomnia, rarely thickening of bronchial secretions can occur. Report to the pharmacist or physician if side effects worsen or last for more than a few days
WARNING
Avoid using other sedatives while on this medication
Do not drink alcohol while using this medication.
Avoid activities like driving and operating heavy machinery if this medication makes you drowsy.
Avoid exposing medication to excessive heat
