Description:
Fastum Gel is a topical anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication containing ketoprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is used for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as soft tissue injuries, including sports injuries, sprains, strains, musculo-tendonitis, swelling, backache, and rheumatic pain.

Dosage:
- Adults and Children over 12 years:
- Apply a 5–10 cm (2–4 inches) length of gel to the affected area two or three times daily.
- Gently massage the gel into the skin.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Children under 12 years:
- Not recommended, as safety in children has not been established.

Consume Type:

Directions/Usage:
- Clean and dry the affected area before application.
- Apply a thin layer of Fastum Gel to the affected area.
- Gently massage the gel into the skin until fully absorbed.
- Wash your hands immediately after application, unless treating the hands.
- Do not apply to broken or infected skin, near the eyes, mouth, nostrils, or genital regions.
- Avoid exposure of the treated area to direct sunlight or sunbeds during treatment and for two weeks after discontinuation to prevent photosensitivity reactions.
Common Side Effects:
- Local skin reactions: redness, itching, rash.
- Photosensitivity reactions: increased sensitivity to sunlight.
- Allergic skin reactions: contact dermatitis.
- Systemic side effects are rare due to minimal systemic absorption.
