Fluoxetine 20mg capsules are oval, opaque green capsules that contain white powder of fluoxetine (as fluoxetine hydrochloride) inside. They come in packs of 28 capsules.

Active Ingredient:
Fluoxetine hydrochloride equivalent to 20mg fluoxetine per capsule

Indications:
Treatment of major depressive disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, bulimia nervosa, panic disorder.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to fluoxetine or any ingredients. MAOIs use within the last 2 weeks.

Dosage:
Start at 20mg daily. Dose may be increased up to 60mg after several weeks if needed. Take in the morning with food.

Added Information:
Effects may take over 4 weeks to be felt. Course is usually at least 6 months. Avoid abrupt withdrawal.

Caution:
Caution in pregnancy, epilepsy, liver impairment, diabetes, bleeding disorders, heart conditions.

Side Effects:
Nausea, headache, anxiety, insomnia, drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth.

Storage:
Store below 25°C in original package to protect from moisture.
