Description
Fragmin Inj is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) anticoagulant used to prevent and treat deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
Prescription
- Prescription-only medication (POM)
Dosage
- Prevention of DVT: 2500-5000 IU subcutaneously once daily.
- Treatment of DVT/PE: 100-200 IU/kg subcutaneously twice daily.
