Warticon Cream

Warticon Cream (Podophyllotoxin 0.15% w/w) by Phoenix Labs is a topical prescription medication used for the treatment of external anogenital (genital) warts caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). It is applied directly to the warts on the external skin of the penis in men or the vagina in women (not internal areas). The active ingredient, podophyllotoxin (a plant extract with antiviral properties), prevents wart cells from dividing and multiplying, causing them to die off and allowing healthy skin to regenerate. It is effective for small, soft external warts and is commonly available in markets including Ghana (via pharmacies in Accra).
