Why do you need this medication? Amcof Syrup is a pineapple flavoured cough syrup used in the control of dry unproductive cough and in the alleviation of nasal and bronchial congestion

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Each 5ml contains

• Ammonium chloride BP 135mg
• Diphenhydramine HCl BP 14mg
• Sodium citrate BP 57mg
• Racementhol 114mg

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients in this medicine

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Adults: 5ml-10ml 2-3 times daily

Children 10years -12years 2.5ml -5ml 2-3 times daily

ADDED INFORMATION

Shake well before use

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persistent over a few days

CAUTION

Do not exceed recommended dosage

Do not give more than 5 times in 24 hours

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

CNS depression with effects varying from slight drowsiness to deep sleep and including dizziness, and incoordination

Excessive doses of sodium salt may also lead to sodium loading and hyperosmolality. Excessive administration of citrate salts may have a laxative effect.

Menthol may give rise to hypersensitivity reactions including contact dermatitis.
