Description: 

Amokiclav is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections.

Dosage Form:

•  Injection (1.2g), Tablet, and Oral Suspension

Strength: 

• 1.2g injection (amoxicillin 1g and clavulanate 200mg)

Active Ingredients: 

• Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium

Indications: 

• Treats bacterial infections such as sinusitis, pneumonia, ear infections, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, and skin infections ¹

Contraindications:

•  Severe kidney disease, liver problems, jaundice, or allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics ¹

Side Effects: 

• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, itching, and vaginal itching or discharge ¹

Precautions:

– Take at the start of a meal

– Do not crush or chew extended-release tablets

– Monitor for signs of allergic reactions
