Benzyl Benzoate (Dannex)  is a topical scabicide and antipruritic used to treat scabies and lice infestations.

Dosage Form: 

Topical Lotion

Strength:

 25% w/w Benzyl Benzoate

Active Ingredients:

  1. Benzyl Benzoate (scabicide and antipruritic)

Indications:

  1. Scabies
  2. Lice infestations (head, body, and pubic)
  3. Pruritus (itching) associated with scabies and lice

 

Contraindications:

  1. Hypersensitivity to benzyl benzoate
  2. Infants under 6 months old
  3. Pregnant or breastfeeding women (consult a healthcare professional)
