Benzyl Benzoate Gel is a topical medication used primarily to treat scabies and lice infestations. It works by killing mites and their eggs. It may also help relieve associated itching by reducing the mite burden on the skin.
Prescription:
Dosage:
- For adults: Apply a thin layer over the entire body (excluding face/scalp) once daily for 2–3 days.
- For children (under 12): A diluted form (often 10% instead of 25%) is recommended, typically under medical supervision.
- Leave on for 24 hours and then wash off. Reapply if washing occurs before 24 hours.
