Other ingredients: Purified water, maltitol liquid (E965), citric acid monohydrate, hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate (E211), propylene glycol (E1520 – in flavouring), apple flavour (or similar), and trace excipients. It is colour-free and sugar-free (uses maltitol as sweetener).

Consume Type:

  • Oral

Directions/Usage:

  • Shake well before use. Use the provided measuring spoon for accuracy.
  • Children 3 months to 1 year: 5 ml (one 5 ml spoonful) 3–4 times a day as needed.
  • Children 1 to 5 years: 10 ml (two 5 ml spoonfuls) 3–4 times a day as needed. Give with or without food. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. If symptoms persist beyond 3 days or worsen, consult a doctor. Not for babies under 3 months.

Common Side Effects:

Storage Advice:

  • Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C (do not refrigerate or freeze). Keep tightly closed after use. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after expiry date.

Safety Advice:

  • For oral use only. Not suitable for babies under 3 months. Consult a doctor/pharmacist before use if the child has diabetes (maltitol may affect blood sugar), hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency. Contains sodium benzoate (E211), propylene glycol (E1520), and trace benzyl alcohol – caution in sensitive individuals (may cause allergic reactions). If cough persists >3 days, worsens, or includes fever, rash, breathing difficulty, or other symptoms, seek medical advice. Not a treatment for serious infections. Report any suspected side effects to a healthcare professional or via schemes like MHRA Yellow Card (UK) or local authorities. Safe for most infants when used as directed.
