CETIRIZINE TAB 10MG EXETER

Why do you need to give this medicine? This medication is an antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of hayfever (seasonal rhinitis)  

INGREDIENTS

Each tablet contains 10mg of Cetirizine HCl

ADDED INFORMATION

This medication contains lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate, talc, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171)

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity

Severe kidney failure.

DOSAGE

Adults, elderly patients and children 12 years and over: 1 tablet daily.

Children aged 6 to 12 years: Half a tablet twice daily.

Children under 6 years: Not recommended.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS 

This drug may cause  Somnolence (sleepiness), Pharyngitis, rhinitis (in children), Diarrhoea, nausea, dry mouth, Dizziness, headache, Fatigue. Report to the pharmacist or physician if side effects worsen or last more than a few days.

WARNING

Caution if:

you have kidney problems. Your dose should be adjusted as recommended by a doctor.

you have problems passing urine (like spinal cord problems or prostate or bladder problems), ask your doctor for advice

you are pregnant.

you suffer from epilepsy or are at risk of convulsions. 

you have hereditary intolerance to some sugars. 

your symptoms persist. You should get advice from your doctor or pharmacist

STORAGE

Keep out of the sight and reach of children, and do not store above 25˚C
