CLOPIDOGREL 75MG EXETER
Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medication used to prevent heart attacks, strokes, and peripheral vascular disease. It reduces the risk of recurring heart attacks or strokes in individuals with a high risk of heart disease.

ADDED INFORMATION
This product contains Lactose, maize starch, Magnesium stearate, hypromellose E15 and titanium dioxide. Do not use if allergic to or intolerant of any of these ingredients.

DOSAGE
For patients with non-ST-elevation MI, 300mg loading dose, then continue with 75mg orally once daily
For patients with ST-elevation MI, 75mg orally once daily
For patients with recent MI, stroke or established PAD, 75mg once daily.
Can be taken with or without food.

CONTRAINDICATION
This drug is contraindicated if there is active bleeding
This drug is contraindicated if there is hypersensitivity to clopidogrel.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
This drug may cause increased bleeding risk and risk of thrombocytopenia and purpura. This drug may also cause fever and hypersensitivity reactions. It may also cause confusion and hallucinations. Report such side effects to your pharmacist or doctor if these become serious or persists for more than a few days

WARNING
Avoid the use of this drug concomitantly with drugs like NSAIDs and omeprazole.
This drug is contraindicated if there is active bleeding
This drug is contraindicated if there is hypersensitivity to clopidogrel.
