Description: 

Differin Gel is a topical retinoid gel used for the treatment of acne vulgaris, including comedonal acne, papular acne, and pustular acne.

Prescription-only medication (POM) 

Dosage:

•     Apply a thin layer of gel to affected areas once daily, preferably at bedtime
•     Avoid applying more than 1 gram of gel per application

Active Ingredients/Composition: 

• Adapalene 0.1% (1 mg/g) gel

 Variant:

•  Available in 0.1% (1 mg/g) gel strength, 15g, 30g, 45g tube sizes

Directions/Usage:

•     Cleanse face with mild soap and pat dry before application
•     Apply a thin layer of gel to affected areas, avoiding eyes, lips, and mucous membranes
•      Gently massage into skin until absorbed

 Safety Advice:

•     Avoid applying Differin Gel to cuts, abrasions, or broken skin
•     Avoid using harsh skin products, astringents, or exfoliating products while using Differin Gel
•      Wear sunscreen with at least SPF 30 and protective clothing during the day, as Differin Gel may increase sun sensitivity
