Fisherman’s Friend is a brand of strong menthol lozenges often taken to help relieve sore throats and coughs. They have a very strong, spicy, menthol flavor.

Active Ingredients:
Sugar, menthol, eucalyptus oil, dextrin, lemon oil, capsicum oleoresin

Indications:
For the temporary relief of sore throats and coughs associated with colds and flu. Also indicated for throat discomfort caused by smoking or air pollution.

Contraindications:
Should not be used by people hypersensitive to menthol or any ingredients in the lozenges. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 lozenge slowly dissolved in the mouth every 2-3 hours as needed. No more than 15 lozenges in 24 hours.

Added information:
The lozenges have a strong, spicy flavor due to the menthol. Allow each lozenge to slowly dissolve in the mouth near the affected area. Drink water to help dissolve. Avoid chewing or crunching the lozenge.

Caution:
Use caution if you have gastrointestinal problems or diabetes. Discontinue use if nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur.

Possible side effects:
Heartburn, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, mouth irritation, diarrhea, and headache in sensitive individuals.

Storage:
Store at room temperature away from excess heat and moisture in a cool, dry place.
