Fosmol 3000mg tablets are white to almost white, oval shaped tablets with breakline on one side. Available in packs of 3 tablets.

Active Ingredient:
Each tablet contains fosfomycin calcium equivalent to 300mg fosfomycin.

Indications:
Treatment of uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections caused by bacteria susceptible to fosfomycin.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to fosfomycin or any excipients. Not recommended in severe renal impairment.

Dosage:
The recommended adult dose is 3g (10 tablets) as a single dose. Should be taken on an empty stomach or at least 3 hours after a meal.

Added Information:
Sufficient fluid intake is recommended during treatment. Complete the full course as advised for resolution of infection.

Caution:
Use with caution in elderly patients. Moderate renal impairment requires dose adjustment.

Side Effects:
Diarrhoea, nausea, headache, dizziness.

Storage:
Store below 25°C. Store in original package.
