Gentamycin Eye Drop – Lavina is an antibiotic medication designed to treat bacterial infections of the eye, such as conjunctivitis or corneal ulcers. It belongs to the aminoglycoside class, targeting a wide range of bacterial pathogens.
Prescription:
- Prescription required. Use only under medical supervision.
Dosage:
- Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4–6 hours.
- In severe infections, the dosage may be increased to every 2 hours during the initial phase, as directed by a doctor.
