Ibuprofen [Vega] Suspension is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated as an oral suspension. It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain, reduce inflammation, and lower fever in children.

Dosage:

Dosage is typically based on the child’s weight and age. A common regimen is 20 mg per kg of body weight per day, divided into three or four doses. For example:

• Children 6–12 months: 2.5 ml three times daily.

• Children 3–7 years: 5 ml three to four times daily.

• Children 8–12 years: 10 ml three to four times daily

Do not exceed the recommended dose, and consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 3 days.
