Insurgen 70/30 Mixtard is a biphasic isophane human insulin injection containing both fast-acting soluble insulin and intermediate-acting isophane insulin.

Active Ingredients:
– Regular human insulin 30% ,
– Isophane human insulin 70%

Therapeutic Category:
Antidiabetic-agent

Indications:
Used to control high blood glucose in patients with diabetes mellitus requiring insulin.

Contraindications:
– Hypersensitivity to insulin preparations
– Hypoglycemia

Dosage: Administered subcutaneously, dosage individualized based on patient’s blood glucose levels.

Added Information: Requires regular blood glucose monitoring to prevent hypoglycemia. Rotation of injection sites is recommended.

Caution: Dose adjustment needed in renal, hepatic or thyroid dysfunction.
