Description:

Paracetamol Exeter Suppositories are used to alleviate mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. They are particularly beneficial for individuals who cannot take oral medications due to postoperative conditions, nausea, or vomiting.

Prescription:

  • Over-the-counter. 

Dosage:

  • Adults and Children Over 12 Years: Insert 1 to 2 suppositories every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 8 suppositories (4000 mg) in 24 hours.
  • Children Aged 10 to 12 Years (30–40 kg): Insert 1 suppository every 4 to 6 hours, up to a maximum of 4 suppositories in 24 hours.

The dose should not be repeated more frequently than every 4 hours. Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days without medical advice. Only whole suppositories should be administered; do not break them before administration.
