Description
Tobmenson Eye Drops contain Tobramycin 0.3%, an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat external eye infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth.
Prescription
Dosage
- Adults and Children (≥2 months):
- Mild to moderate infections: Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours.
- Severe infections: Instill 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every hour until improvement, then reduce frequency as directed.

Directions/Usage
- Wash hands thoroughly before application.
- Tilt head back and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
- Instill the prescribed number of drops into the pocket.
- Close eyes gently for 1–2 minutes.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye or hands, to prevent contamination.
- If using other eye medications, wait at least 5–10 minutes before applying them.
