Description

Tobmenson Eye Drops contain Tobramycin 0.3%, an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat external eye infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth.

Prescription

  • Prescription-only. 

Dosage

  • Adults and Children (≥2 months):

    • Mild to moderate infections: Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours.

    • Severe infections: Instill 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every hour until improvement, then reduce frequency as directed.

Consume Type

Directions/Usage

  1. Wash hands thoroughly before application.

  2. Tilt head back and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

  3. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the pocket.

  4. Close eyes gently for 1–2 minutes.

  5. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye or hands, to prevent contamination.

  6. If using other eye medications, wait at least 5–10 minutes before applying them.

  • Swelling of the eye or eyelid
