Tixylix Children’s Cough Syrup is a soothing cough suppressant formulated to relieve dry, tickly coughs in children aged 3 months to 5 years. It contains glycerol, which helps to coat and soothe the throat, reducing the urge to cough.

• Glycerol: 0.75 ml per 5 ml dose.​
  

Other ingredients include liquid maltitol (Lycasin), hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium benzoate (E211), citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, natural flavours (vanilla, blackcurrant), and purified water.

Directions/Usage

• Dosage:
  • Children aged 3 months to 1 year: 5 ml up to 4 times daily.

  • Children aged 1 to 5 years: 10 ml up to 4 times daily.​

• Shake the bottle well before use.

• Use the measuring spoon provided to ensure accurate dosing.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  

Common Side Effects

Tixylix Children’s Cough Syrup is generally well-tolerated. However, it contains maltitol, which may have a mild laxative effect in some children.
