Description:

Ferrodex Capsules are oral iron supplement capsules prescribed for prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia.

Active Ingredients:
Ferrous ascorbate equivalent to elemental iron and folic acid.

Indications:
For the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient, hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis.

Dosage:
Adults – 1 capsule twice daily, or as directed by physician.

Added Information:
Takes 1-2 weeks for optimal therapeutic response. Should be taken on an empty stomach for better absorption.

Caution:
Use cautiously in patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

Possible Side Effects:
Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal discomfort.
