Acupan is a non-opioid analgesic containing Nefopam hydrochloride as the active ingredient.  Dosage:

  • Intravenous (IV) Route: 
    • Administer 20 mg (2 ml) slowly over 15–20 minutes. 
    • If necessary, repeat every 4–6 hours, not exceeding a total of 120 mg/day. ​
  • Intramuscular (IM) Route: 
    • Administer 20 mg (2 ml) deep into the muscle. 
    • If necessary, repeat every 6 hours, not exceeding a total of 120 mg/day.

  • Intramuscular (IM) Administration: 
    • Inject 20 mg (2 ml) deep into the muscle. 
    • Repeat every 6 hours if necessary, not exceeding 120 mg/day. ​
