Description:

 A targeted topical antifungal cream used to rapidly eliminate skin fungi, yeasts, and dermatophytes while soothing itching, redness, and irritation.

Active Ingredients/Composition: 

Contains 2% w/w Sertaconazole Nitrate (equivalent to 20 mg of active drug per gram of cream). Notable excipients include sorbic acid and methyl p-hydroxybenzoate.

20g tube (also available globally in vaginal tablet/suppository variants under slightly modified brand names like Ginedermofix). 

Consume Type:

 Topical use only; strictly forbidden for oral ingestion or internal use. 

Directions/Usage:

• Thoroughly wash and dry the affected area and surrounding skin.
• Apply a thin layer of cream once or twice daily (preferably in the morning and evening), rubbing it in gently.
• Duration: Standard treatment typically lasts 3 to 4 weeks. Continue usage for the fully recommended duration even if symptoms disappear early to prevent a relapse. 

Common Side Effects: Generally very well tolerated. Minor, localized side effects can include temporary skin dryness, mild stinging or burning at the application site, peeling, or mild redness.

Storage Advice: 

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Do not freeze. Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use and store out of reach of children. 

Safety Advice: Strictly avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Do not use if you have a known allergy/hypersensitivity to sertaconazole or other imidazole antifungals. If you have been treating the area with a topical corticosteroid, wait 2 weeks after stopping the steroid before applying Dermofix to prevent skin sensitization. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers must consult a doctor before use.
