Description:

Emgikof-S Expectorant  is a triple-action cough syrup formulated to relieve chesty (productive) coughs with difficult-to-expel mucus. It combines a mucolytic (ambroxol) to thin and loosen mucus, a bronchodilator (salbutamol) to open the airways and ease breathing, and an expectorant (guaifenesin) to help expel phlegm. It is commonly used for cough associated with bronchitis, colds, flu, or other respiratory conditions involving congestion and wheezing.

Prescription: Over-the-counter (OTC). No prescription required; widely available in Ghanaian pharmacies and chemical shops.
