Febuday Tablet contains febuxostat, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor used to manage chronic hyperuricemia in conditions where uric acid deposition has already occurred, such as gouty arthritis. It works by reducing the production of uric acid in the body, thereby preventing the accumulation of urate crystals in the joints.

Prescription:
Prescription-only medication.

Dosage:

• Initial Dose: 40mg once daily.
• Maintenance Dose: If serum uric acid levels remain above 6 mg/dL after 2 weeks, the dose may be increased to 80 mg once daily.
• Administration: Can be taken with or without food.
