Ferrodex Syrup is an oral iron supplement prescribed for prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia.

Active Ingredients:
Ferrous ascorbate equivalent to elemental iron and folic acid.

Indications:
Treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis.

Dosage:
Children 6-12 years: 5-10 ml daily. Adults and Children above 12 years: 10-20 ml daily or as prescribed.

Added Information:
Takes 1-2 weeks for optimal response. Should be taken on an empty stomach for increased absorption.

Caution:
Use cautiously in patients with gastrointestinal problems.

Possible Side Effects:
Constipation, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal discomfort.

Storage:
Store below 25°C in a cool and dry place. Protect from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
