Active Ingredient:
Fluconazole
Indications:
Used to treat vaginal thrush, fungal skin and nail infections. Also used for systemic and internal fungal infections such as respiratory, urinary tract and systemic candidal infections.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to fluconazole or similar antifungal medicines. Caution if liver dysfunction.
Dosage:
The dose depends on the type of infection, but common doses range from 50mg to 400mg daily for 1 to 12 weeks.
Added Information:
Capsules can be taken with or without food. Complete the full course as advised even if feeling better.
Caution:
Use cautiously in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Monitor liver function. Interacts with warfarin and some other medicines.
