Active Ingredients/Composition:

 Each sachet contains 5.631 grams of Fosfomycin Tromethamine, which delivers exactly 3 grams of active elemental Fosfomycin. Notable inactive ingredients include sucrose, saccharin sodium, and mandarin/orange flavorings.

Consume Type: 

Oral use only (must be dissolved in water before drinking). Never swallow the powder dry. 

Directions/Usage:

• Dosage: For adult women (18 years and older), the standard dose is one single sachet taken once to treat a single infection episode. Do not take a second dose unless directed by a doctor.
• Administration: Completely dissolve the entire contents of the sachet in a small glass (approx. 100ml) of cold or room-temperature water. Stir thoroughly and drink immediately. Do not use hot water.
• Timing: Take on an empty stomach (either 2 hours before or 2 hours after a meal), preferably at bedtime after emptying the bladder. Food reduces the absorption and overall effectiveness of the medicine. 

Common Side Effects: 

Diarrhea or loose stools (most common), headache, dizziness, nausea, vaginitis (vaginal irritation or inflammation), and mild indigestion.

Storage Advice:

• Interactions: Avoid taking this medicine concurrently with metoclopramide or other drugs that speed up stomach motility, as they lower the amount of fosfomycin your body absorbs.

• Note: Symptoms may take 2 to 3 days to fully clear up as the drug remains active in your urinary tract long after you drink it.
