Description
Gentamycin Eye & Ear Drops 0.3% (Afrique) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic solution used for the treatment of bacterial infections affecting the eyes and ears. It contains Gentamicin sulfate, an aminoglycoside antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby killing or stopping the growth of susceptible bacteria.
It is commonly prescribed for conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis, otitis externa, and other bacterial infections of the eye or ear.

Directions/Usage
For Eye Infections:
- Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours (up to 6 times daily).
- For severe infections, dosing may be increased initially, then reduced as improvement occurs.
For Ear Infections:
- Instill 2–3 drops into the affected ear 3–4 times daily.
Keep the head tilted for a few minutes after administration.
Note:

Wash hands before and after use.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.

Ocular use:
- Temporary eye irritation, burning, or redness
