Consume Type: 

Oral liquid use (administered enterally via the included dropper). Directions/Usage:

• Dosage: Must be administered strictly according to age and weight charts, or as specified by a paediatrician. Typically ranges between 0.5ml and 1ml daily.
• Administration: Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use. Draw the exact amount into the graduated dropper. Drop the liquid gently onto the inner cheek or back of the child’s tongue. Alternatively, mix it directly into a small amount of expressed breast milk, formula, water, or fruit juice.
• Best Practice: Give with or immediately after a feeding to prevent any local stomach discomfort. Avoid mixing with dairy or milk in large quantities if possible, as calcium can reduce iron absorption. 

Common Side Effects: Generally very mild. The active iron content naturally and harmlessly causes dark- or black-colored stools. Other minor, temporary signs include mild constipation, slight loose stools, or transient mild spitting up/nausea as the infant adapts to the supplement.
