Hypertonic Saline Injection is a sterile solution used to treat severe hyponatremia (low sodium levels), increased intracranial pressure, and other conditions requiring rapid correction of sodium levels.

Dosage

  •  Initial dose: 30-100mL (3-10%) IV over 3-5 minutes
  •  Maintenance dose: 10-50mL (1-5%) IV every 2-4 hours as needed
