Kmclav 1g /625mg tablet is an antibiotic combination used to treat bacterial infections.

Description: It contains amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Clavulanic acid helps overcome resistance and enhances the effectiveness of amoxicillin.

Active Ingredients: Amoxicillin 1000 mg and clavulanic acid 200 mg

Indications: Used to treat respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, bone and joint infections etc., caused by both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or other Penicillins. Severe renal impairment.

Dosage: The usual dose in adults is 1 tablet twice daily. The duration of treatment is 5-10 days depending on the type of infection. Should be taken with food.

Caution: Allergic reactions can occur. Discontinue use if rash, itching or swelling develops. Use with caution in liver impairment.

Side Effects: Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps. Less commonly rashes, headache, dizziness.

Storage: Store at room temperature away from heat, moisture and sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
