Himalaya Koflet-EX Sugar Free Linctus is a herbal expectorant cough syrup formulated to help relieve productive (wet) cough by loosening and thinning mucus, easing expectoration, soothing throat irritation, and supporting comfortable breathing. It is a non-drowsy, sugar-free herbal formulation. 

Prescription:

 Typically  OTC (over-the-counter) — not generally a prescription-only medicine, but should be used with appropriate guidance. Herbal syrups like this are usually available without a doctor’s prescription.

Active Ingredients / Composition:

Each 5 ml typically contains the following herbal extracts/constituents:

  • Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Yashti / Liquorice) – ~50 mg

Consume Type:

Directions / Usage:

General recommended usage (guideline only — adjust per doctor’s advice):

  • Adults & children above 12 years: 1–2 teaspoonfuls (5–10 ml) 3–4 times daily. 
  • Children (3–12 years): ½–1 teaspoonful (2.5–5 ml) 3–4 times daily. 
  • Children under 3 years: Use only on doctor’s advice. 
  • Shake well before use to ensure uniform mixing.
