Prescription:

  • Prescription-only medication 

Dosage:

  • For Anxiety Disorders:
    • Mild to moderate anxiety: 5-10mg, 3-4 times daily.
    • Severe anxiety: 20-25mg, 3-4 times daily.
  • For Alcohol Withdrawal:
    • 50-100mg initially, then repeated as needed, up to 300mg per day.
    • Gradual dose reduction is recommended.
  • For Preoperative Sedation:
    • 5-10mg before surgery.
