Active Ingredients/Composition: 

• Contains 0.1% w/v Olopatadine Hydrochloride USP (equivalent to 1 mg of active olopatadine per 1 mL of solution). It standardly includes Benzalkonium Chloride as a preservative, alongside purified water and pH-balancing agents. 

Minerals: 

• None (contains trace sodium salts like dibasic sodium phosphate strictly as buffering agents to ensure the drops match natural tear acidity).

Consume Type:

• Directions/Usage:
  • Dosage: For adults and children aged 3 years and older, instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) twice daily. Space the two doses roughly 6 to 8 hours apart (typically morning and evening).
  • Administration: Wash hands thoroughly. Tilt your head back, pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket, drop the medicine in, and close your eye gently for 1 to 2 minutes. Do not blink rapidly or rub your eye.
  • Spacing: If using other clinical eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes between applying each product. 

Common Side Effects:

•  Generally well-tolerated. Temporary, mild stinging or burning immediately after application, a feeling of dry eyes, mild headaches, a transient bitter taste in the mouth (as drops naturally drain into the throat), or temporary blurred vision.

Storage Advice:

•  Store in a cool, dry place between 4°C and 25°C. Protect closely from freezing and intense direct heat. Keep the cap tightly sealed, and store completely out of the reach of children. 
• Safety Advice:
  • Contamination Warning: Do not touch the dropper tip to your eye, fingers, or any other surface, as this introduces harmful bacteria into the sterile solution.
  • Contact Lens Rule: Do not apply while wearing contact lenses. The preservative (benzalkonium chloride) can permanently discolor soft lenses. Remove lenses before instilling the drops and wait at least 10 to 15 minutes before putting them back in. Never wear contact lenses if your eyes are actively red or irritated.
  • Expiry Rule: Discard the bottle 4 weeks after first opening to prevent eye infection risks from stale fluid.
