Metrolex-F tablets contain the antibiotics metronidazole and furazolidone, used to treat bacterial and protozoal infections.

Active Ingredients:
Metronidazole 200mg, Furazolidone 50mg

Indications:
Treatment of giardiasis, amebiasis, bacterial vaginosis, antibiotic-associated colitis

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to nitroimidazoles or furazolidone. Blood dyscrasias, neurological disease

Dosage:
Adults: 1 tablet twice daily with meals for 7-10 days depending on indication

Cautions:
May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Avoid alcohol during treatment.

Side Effects:
Nausea, metallic taste, furry tongue, abdominal cramps

Storage:
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light.
