Prescription:

  • Prescription-only medication

Dosage:

  • Standard Dosage: 40mg to 80mg once daily.
  • Hypertension: The usual starting dose is 40mg once daily, which may be adjusted to 80mg depending on the patient’s response.
  • For Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: 80mg once daily.
  • Renal or Hepatic Impairment: Dosage adjustments may be needed under medical supervision.
