Paracetamol suppositories, such as Panalex, are used to alleviate mild to moderate pain and reduce fever, especially in individuals who cannot take oral medications due to nausea, vomiting, or postoperative conditions.

Prescription:

  •  Over-the-counter

Dosage:

  • Children 1 to 5 Years (10–20 kg): Administer 1 to 2 suppositories (125 mg each) every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours.
  • Children 6 Months to 5 Years: Use 1 suppository (125 mg) every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours.
  • Children 5 to 12 Years: Administer 1 suppository (250 mg) every 4 to 6 hours as needed, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours.

Do not use for more than 3 consecutive days without medical advice. Only whole suppositories should be administered; do not break them before administration.
