Description:

Paracetamol Syrup GR is an oral liquid formulation of paracetamol (acetaminophen), a widely used analgesic and antipyretic. It is commonly administered to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever in children and adults.​

Prescription:

  •  Over-the-counter (OTC) medication.​

Dosage:

Dosage varies based on age and weight. A typical formulation contains 120 mg of paracetamol per 5 ml. Standard dosing guidelines are:​

  • Infants (under 1 year): 2.5 ml 
  • Children (1–4 years): 2.5–5 ml 
  • Children (5–8 years): 5–10 ml 
  • Children (9–12 years): 10–15 ml 
  • Adults: 20 ml 

Repeat every 4–6 hours as needed, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours. Always follow the dosing instructions provided by your healthcare provider or the product label. ​
