– Take at the same time daily; can be with or without food. Avoid antacids with aluminum or magnesium within 2 hours of dose 

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache; less common: changes in taste, insomnia, dizziness, mild skin rash; rare but serious: QT prolongation, arrhythmias, severe allergic reactions (e.g., Stevens–Johnson syndrome), Clostridioides difficile–associated diarrhea, hepatic issues.

Blister packs: 500 mg (strip of 3 tablets); 250 mg (strip of 6 tablets).

– Complete full prescribed course to prevent resistance

– Avoid antacids (aluminium/magnesium) near dose

– Inform your doctor if you have heart rhythm issues (e.g., QT prolongation), low electrolytes, liver or kidney issues, macrolide allergy, myasthenia gravis, or arrhythmia risk.
