Salicyclic acid ointment contains salicylic acid as the active ingredient in an emollient and keratolytic ointment base. It is used to soften and shed thick, scaly skin.

Composition:
Each 100g contains Salicylic acid IP 6% w/w

Indications:
For management of hyperkeratotic skin conditions like psoriasis, ichthyosis, calluses, warts

Contraindications:
Do not use if allergic to salicylates or any ingredients

Side Effects:
Mild skin irritation like redness, stinging, burning

Dosage:
Apply thinly over affected area once or twice a day

Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place. Keep container tightly closed.
