Directions/Usage: Adults: 1 capsule once or twice daily after meals (or as directed by a doctor/pharmacist). Pregnant women: Usually 1 capsule daily as part of antenatal care. Take after food to reduce stomach irritation. Use for the duration recommended by a doctor (usually 1–3 months for anaemia correction). Do not exceed recommended dose.

Common Side Effects:

  • Mild nausea, constipation, or stomach discomfort
  • Metallic taste in mouth
  • Rare: Allergic reactions (rash, itching) or teeth staining if capsule is opened/chewed.

Package Type:

Blister packs (2 strips of 15 capsules each, total 30 capsules; foil-aluminum blisters in carton box).

Storage Advice: Store at room temperature (below 30°C), in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children.

Safety Advice:

  • Do not exceed the stated dose (risk of iron overload).
  • Not suitable for patients with iron overload disorders (e.g., haemochromatosis) without medical advice.
  • Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy (beneficial but confirm dose), breastfeeding, or if anaemia symptoms persist (requires blood tests for proper diagnosis).
  • Iron overdose is dangerous, especially in children — keep securely stored.
  • May interact with antibiotics or antacids (space doses).
  • Seek medical help for persistent symptoms rather than indefinite self-use.
