Description:A parenteral (injectable) formulation of tramadol (an opioid analgesic) used for management of moderate to severe acute pain, especially when oral administration is not feasible.

Therapeutic Category:Analgesic — Opioid / centrally acting analgesic (synthetic)

 

  • Active: Tramadol hydrochloride 100 mg in 2 mL (i.e. 50 mg/mL) 
  •  Inactive ingredients (vehicle): sodium acetate, water for injections (as per one formulation)
