Indications:
Common medical conditions affecting adults include acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, skin infections, urethritis and cervicitis, genital ulcer disease (in men), community-acquired pneumonia, and pharyngitis/tonsillitis.
Contraindications:
Azomax is contraindicated in individuals having hypersensitivity to the drug.
Patient with a history of cholestatic jaundice/hepatic dysfunction associated with prior use of azithromycin.
Directions/Usage:
Adults
For uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis, the recommended dose is 1000mg as a single oral dose. For all other indications, the recommended dose is 1500mg, to be taken as 500mg per day for three consecutive days. Alternatively, the same total dose (1,500mg) can be taken over a period of five days. This regimen involves taking 500mg on day 1, followed by 250mg once daily on days 2 through 5.

Azomax should not be used during pregnancy without medical advice. Use with caution in people with kidney and liver problems, as well as pseudomembranous colitis.

Nausea, epigastric distress, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, and flatulence, fever, skin rash, cholestatic jaundice, ototoxicity.
Storage Advice:
Store in a cool place below 30°C.
