 A targeted topical antibiotic cream or ointment used to eliminate localized bacterial skin infections, heal small wounds, and treat highly contagious superficial skin conditions.

Active Ingredients/Composition: 

Contains 2% w/w Mupirocin (as mupirocin free acid or mupirocin calcium). Every gram of the preparation contains 20mg of active medication. 

Variant: 15g tube (available in both an Ointment variant in a polyethylene glycol base and a Cream variant in an oil-and-water emulsion). 

Consume Type: 

Topical use only; strictly forbidden for oral consumption, ophthalmic (eye) use, or deep internal application. 

Directions/Usage:

• Clean and dry the affected area of the skin thoroughly before application.
• Apply a small amount of cream or ointment to cover the infection 2 to 3 times daily for up to 10 days, depending on clinical response.
• The treated area may be covered with a sterile gauze dressing if needed. Wash your hands immediately before and after application. 

Common Side Effects:

 Localized skin irritation, including a temporary burning sensation, stinging, itching, redness, or localized dryness at the application site. Package Type:

Storage Advice:

 Store at controlled room temperature below 25°C. Do not freeze, and keep the tube tightly closed when not in use. Discard any unused product at the completion of your treatment course. 

Safety Advice: 

Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, mouth, or inside the nose (a completely separate formulation exists for nasal use). If you have moderate-to-severe kidney impairment, consult your doctor before using large amounts of the ointment variant, as its polyethylene glycol base can be absorbed systemically through open wounds and build up in the kidneys. Discontinue use immediately if a severe local allergic skin reaction or widespread rash occurs.
