Description:

Bricomal Eye Drops contain Brimonidine Tartrate, an alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist. They are primarily used to lower intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, helping to prevent optic nerve damage and vision loss.

Dosage:

• Adults: Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice to three times daily, approximately 8–12 hours apart.

• Children under 2 years: Contraindicated.

• Children over 2 years: Use only under medical advice.​​

Directions/Usage:

1. Wash hands thoroughly before use.

2. Tilt head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid.

3. Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s).

4. Close eyes gently for 2–3 minutes.

5. Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination.

6. If using other eye medications, wait at least 5 minutes between applications.​

• Eye redness (conjunctival hyperemia)

• Dry mouth

• Eye itching or discomfort

• Blurred vision

• Headache

• Fatigue or drowsiness

• Allergic conjunctivitis​

Safety Advice:
