Indications:
Samopred eye drops are used to treat various eye conditions associated with inflammation, including:
Allergic conjunctivitis: Redness, itching, and swelling of the eyes caused by allergens.
Uveitis: Inflammation of the uvea, the middle layer of the eye.
Scleritis: Inflammation of the sclera, the white outer layer of the eye.
Corneal inflammation: Inflammation of the cornea, the clear outer covering of the eye.
Postoperative inflammation: Inflammation following eye surgery.

Contraindications:
Samopred should not be used if you have:
Hypersensitivity to prednisolone or any of its ingredients.
Active viral or fungal infections of the eye.
Untreated glaucoma.
Cataract.
Advanced herpes simplex keratitis.

Side effects:
While generally well-tolerated, Samopred eye drops can cause side effects, including:
Increased intraocular pressure (IOP), which can lead to glaucoma.
