Nasonex is a corticosteroid indicated for the treatment of Nasal Symptoms of Allergic Rhinitis in patients (≥2 years of age), Nasal Congestion Associated with Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis in patients (≥2 years of age ), Prophylaxis of Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis in patients (≥12 years of age ) and Treatment of Nasal Polyps in patients (≥18 years of age).

NASONEX is a corticosteroid indicated for:
ACTIVE INGREDIENT
Mometasone furoate monohydrate 50mcg
DOSAGE
For Intranasal Use Only
Adults & Adolescents (12 yrs. and older): 2 sprays in each nostril once daily Children (2-11 yrs.): 1 spray in each nostril once daily
Adults & Adolescents (12 yrs. and older): 2 sprays in each nostril once daily Children (2-11 yrs.): 1 spray in each nostril once daily
Adults & Adolescents (12 yrs. and older): 2 sprays in each nostril once daily
Adults (18 yrs. and older): 2 sprays in each nostril twice daily. 2 sprays in each nostril once daily may also be effective in some patients.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Thrush (candida), a fungal infection in your nose and throat.
Headache
Viral infection
Pharyngitis
Epistaxis
Cough
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Avoid use in patients with recent nasal ulcers, nasal surgery, or nasal trauma.
CONTRAINDICATION
Patients with known hypersensitivity to mometasone furoate or any of the ingredients of NASONEX
STORAGE
Keep out of reach of children
Store at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted to 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F)
